What Is Copper Foil?
Copper foil is a conductive material used in anti-static raised access floor systems for grounding purposes. It is installed beneath the floor pedestals, forming a grid network that safely channels static electricity collected by the anti-static floor to the building's ground terminal.
Simply put: The anti-static floor collects static charges. The copper foil conducts them away. Both are essential.
Why Is Copper Foil Necessary?
In data centers, server rooms, and electronic factories, static electricity is an invisible threat. An anti-static floor alone cannot effectively discharge static without a proper grounding network. The result? Potential equipment damage or system failure.
